Community Guidelines
MeteorBall's community is for sharing and discussing puzzle levels. Comments, level names and display names are public, and players of many ages, including teenagers, read them. Please help keep it a good place to be.
Be respectful
- Talk about the puzzle: what you enjoyed, where you got stuck, how it could be better. Honest criticism is welcome; insults aren't.
- No harassment, bullying, threats or hate, and no comments aimed at a person rather than their level.
- No spam, advertising or repeated posts.
- No sexually explicit, violent or otherwise inappropriate content, in comments, level names or display names.
Keep personal information private
- Don't share your own or anyone else's personal information: real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, school or location.
- Don't use comments to arrange private contact or meetings. MeteorBall has no private messages, on purpose.
Report problems; don't escalate
- If a comment or level breaks these guidelines, use Report. Only moderators see reports, and the person you report isn't told who reported them.
- Don't argue back or report something just because you disagree with it.
- Reports are reviewed by people. A number of reports never removes anything by itself.
Moderation
Under the Terms of Service, MeteorBall may remove comments, hide levels and restrict or close accounts that break these guidelines or the Terms. A report on its own never does any of this: a moderator reviews it first.
Depending on what happened, a moderator may send you a warning, which you'll see on My account, or temporarily restrict your community participation. While restricted you can still sign in and play every level, but you can't comment, publish, rate, follow or report until the date shown. Serious or repeated problems can lead to an account being disabled.
You can delete your own comments at any time, and edit them unless your participation is restricted. Questions? Contact us.
